Product Overview
Wet process glass fiber reinforced phenolic moulding compound is a high-performance thermosetting composite material, manufactured by wet impregnation process. Different from dry-process general phenolic molding powder (bakelite powder), it adopts liquid phenolic resin fully impregnated with continuous/short-cut glass fiber strands, matched with functional fillers and additives through homogeneous wet mixing, kneading, and low-temperature curing granulation. The wet mixing technology ensures every glass fiber is fully wetted and wrapped by resin, with no dry fiber or voids inside the material. It features ultra-high mechanical strength, excellent structural uniformity, superior heat resistance and electrical insulation, and is the preferred material for high-load, high-precision, long-life industrial components.
Core Advantages
1. Granular Form & Excellent Molding Performance
Uniform granule size ensures stable feeding, good fluidity, no dust, suitable for automatic injection and compression molding, greatly improving production efficiency and finished product consistency.
2. Ultra-high Mechanical Strength
Wet impregnation realizes perfect combination of resin and glass fiber, providing outstanding flexural strength, impact resistance and structural stability, suitable for long-term high-load working conditions.
3. Superior Heat & Dimensional Stability
Dense internal structure brings low shrinkage, low water absorption and excellent thermal stability. Hardly deformed under high temperature and humid environment.
4. Reliable Electrical Insulation
Uniform fiber-resin distribution ensures stable dielectric strength and tracking resistance, ideal for high-voltage electrical and electronic components.
